2020-10-5 The OEM plastic skid panel under my Max 450 is standing up well. A few times it took a good hit and I thought sure it would get torn up but it survived intact. So my only beef with it so far is how much mud it brings home. I am not against trying

2014-5-30 So I have been looking at skid plates and trying to figure what would be best. Just seen a HDPE plastic 10 mm skid plate set for the polaris and was thinking that would be far greater in snow then the aluminium plate. I would think in snow it would be a superior piece to have. Price wise they are about same. Perhaps slightly less on plastic.
