Jun 27, 2013 The rollers on a V slot look to be much more bulky than a single T slot linear bearing. But as you mentioned in one of your videos, the price of T slot linear bearings is much higher. The size of the machine would have to be increased to allow for the extra bulk that the V slot sliding assemblies need.
Additionally, Fusion3 uses aluminum extrusion wheels (can't say if they're V-slot for sure, since I can just see the extrusions themselves, but it's a slot and wheel system of some kind), and their machines cost even more. Again, I've never met a dissatisfied customer from them.
