Use water to wash off the lifted paint. Makes a mess. Don't apply more stripper until the aluminum is completely dry as water instantly neutralizes the stripper.

I have a 50s model travel trailer that at one time painted with acrylic paint. Now that I have it Id love to restore it but havent been able to come up with anything to get the paint off the aluminum.
