Coil Anodizing is an electrochemical process where we grow the anodic layer from the base aluminum, not an applied coating. Coiled raw aluminum is unwound and pulled through a series of tanks, each playing a vital role where we clean, anodize, color, seal, then rewind the coil all in one continuous process.

Little attention was paid to the type of material or the anode to cathode ratio.
Currently, primary aluminium smelting relies on carbon anodes, which produce CO 2 as they degrade. Innovation efforts are under way to develop inert anodes, which are made from alternative materials, do not degrade, and produce pure oxygen rather than CO 2. Two key initiatives have made considerable progress in the past couple of years:
Because precipitations like AlFeSi or Al3Fe are more noble than the surrounding metal matrix in the presence of an electrolyte, the aluminium itself can act as a sacrificial anode to be locally electrochemically converted to oxide. Usually this can only occur at elevated temperatures and in the presence of humidity, electrolyte and oxygen.
