Have a 2019 Forester, thinking about putting some under body protection on it. Subaru has an OEM aluminum and or steel skid plate for the front and a steel diff skid plate. LP adventure has similar products. I have no experience with underbody panel protection, any advice or opinion?

Feb 23, 2020 No fitment issues, or air issues from the steel one vs original plastic or aluminum. I've got 23k on my car now, just towed 800 miles with 2500 lbs behind me with no problems. Oil temp only got to 212 on 80 in PA hills. Aluminum will be lighter, but not as strong, and has a smaller coverage area then the steel.

E515SAN000 is the aluminum one for the 2.4 engine which is designed to prevent restricion for the turbo. E515SAN010 is the black steel version for the 2.5 motor. My part is not black and is very light weight.
