The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +4/5 base pad works on GLOCK models 19/23. This base pad will add 5 extra rounds in 9mm and 4 extra rounds in 40 Caliber to the magazine. This base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads.

Jul 10, 2018 I was looking for base plates to extend past the magwell on my G17. They are durable, lightweight, and very slick looking. Aug 10, 2018 While holding the magazine upside down firmly in 1 hand, squeezing the 2 sides, I use the Glock tool or a small punch to depress the button and snap the base plate forward with the punch or Glock tool, just enough to off seat it. Then with my thumb i hold the spring in and remove the base plate. then just slide the new on until it snaps.
