预计阅读时间：8 分钟Chrome Plating and Electroplating Aluminum Aluminum is both light weight and high strength. Aluminum plating is ideal for use on motorcycles, automobiles, and aircrafts. Aluminum castings, extrusions, forgings, and machined billet can all be decorative nickel chrome electroplated to improve the appearance and enhance the corrosion performance.
Aluminum immediately forms a passive film onto which it is not possible to electroplate. Therefore the first step is to apply a zincate coating. Once the zincate finish is in place you either start with cyanide copper before acid copper-nickel-chrome plating or start with alkaline electroless nickel plating before copper-nickel-chrome instead.
A straight connector is made of aluminum alloy. The straight connector is used to form a linear connection of two aluminum extrusions to extend for the desired length. It boasts an anodized finish that can be dyed black or silvery-white. The external connector is made from chrome-plated steel that is proven to resist rusting.

Please be sure to order your pre-cut aluminum extrusion for us to cut from. Because of the saw limitation, we need to cut off at least 10mm from the stock. In other words, if 398mm is desired, you need to order stock longer than 408mm to cut from. Ordering one cut service will only result in one extrusion piece in specified length.
