Oct 11, 2015 You should be using black pipe or copper pipe with threaded connections for air distribution. Sweated connections and quick connectors with thin wall tubing is sub-standard. I agree. I am using 5/8 copper tubing with "Swagelock" compression fittings. This is rated for 900 psi. Maybe a bit excessive, but safe.
