The type of plywood they use on concrete forms. He showed me a piece of it he closed up a window on his garage with. It has some type of thin ceramic layer (black in color) on one side.

It came with 1/2" plywood and has longitudinal support with 14" separation. If it were just a question of money I'd go with 3/16" but it's going to add 49lbs (104 vs 153 total).
