Mar 24, 2019 Whatever you choose, if not vapor degreasing, the important things are to limit exposure to the cleaner and rinse thoroughly with neutral water. Soaking your parts for hours or days in a cleaning bath without doing a test run first isn't a good idea. The greasy areas will come clean last, the clean areas will be corroded first.
评论数: 2Mar 01, 2010 Most old Kawa's get pretty grimy from road crap around the engine. If it were a car engine, I'd just coat it up with Gunk degreaser, scrub it a bit and hose it off. But Gunk and similar degreasers warn not to use on aluminum (as well as oven cleaner). I've tried aluminum wheel cleaners with no success, and I can't afford any kind of blasting.
