Cannondale's 2015 road and cyclocross bike lineup commits to disc brakes, giving more road bike models the option and going all in for ‘cross. That's right, all CAAD-X and SuperX cyclocross bikes are disc brake only, no more cantilever options.

The bike is fast, and yet very confortable on the road. The ride is not harsh by any means compared to other aluminum bikes that I test rode. For ~$1500 I am very satisfied with this bike.

If you're considering this bike, you should know that the 2014 has a 10 speed Shimano 5700 groupset, while the 2015 has an 11 speed Shimano 5800 groupset.

The roads were packed and in good shape which made 25s acceptable. For rougher roads with looser gravel I would go with my CX bike with 34s.
