The SSI plate is 1/8" while Primitive sells both 1/8" and 3/16" so it's just a matter of whether you need the beefy one or the beefier one. Also remember that the bends make the plate stronger whereas the almost flat SSI plate won't be as strong as the Primitive.

The standard plate will fit a TRD PRO factory skid plate, it is a tight fit getting a tool or hand in there to hold the nut while tightening the bolts thought.
