If you have a good height control, cut it with the bumps up for best results and use the cut chart specs for the thickness at the bumps. Correct height and correct speed and you will get a cut like SeanP shows in his pic.
Oct 18, 2018 Sheet aluminum wouldn't have enough structure in it and it would cost a fortune. I have a steel diamond plate deck trailer. I don't really recommend steel either. Freakin loud when using chains. Heavier than wood, which takes away from your carrying capacity. I have 3" channel on 16" centers. And 1/8" diamond plate.
