Marine grade tempers of 5059, such as H116 and H321, have been commercially available for quite some time on yachts, ferries, and catamarans, but little information is known on the H131 temper applicable for use in armor plate. AA5059-H136 was also investigated to a lesser degree and the results will be discussed briefly in this report.
